Classic Monkey Bread

I remember the first time I had monkey bread; I was in college and my roommate’s mom sent her back with monkey bread. It was so delicious. The whole pan was probably gone that weekend.

It has been quite a few years since I’ve had monkey bread, but tonight I made some for the first time. It was so easy and it turned out delicious.

01 Separate the all the biscuits and then cut into quarters.

02 Put cinnamon, sugar and cut up biscuits into a gallon size bag and shake to coat biscuits with cinnamon and sugar mix.

03 Heat butter and add brown sugar.

04 Spray 12 cup flute pan and layer biscuits, raisins and walnuts.

05 Pour butter and brown sugar mixture over biscuits.

06 Bake for 35-40 minutes at 350

After the pan cools down flip it over onto a plate.


1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

2 cans of grands original flaky biscuits

1/2 cup of chopped walnuts (optional)

1/2 cup of raisins (optional)

1 cup packed brown sugar

3/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
